Since 2004, the Midlothian Education Foundation has awarded over $700,000 to Midlothian ISD, providing teachers with grants. Over $40,00 raised in 2025 alone!

The Midlothian ISD Education Foundation provides support to teachers through two different scholarship funds for employees who are furthering their education. The Dolores W. McClatchey Teaching Scholarship is for teachers who are pursuing graduate-level degrees; while the MEF Paraprofessional Scholarship is for employees pursuing a degree in the field of education or a degree leading to a teacher certification.

Amrize has been an exceptional partner in supporting innovation in Midlothian ISD through their sponsorship of mini STEM grants. Their commitment empowers educators to bring creative, hands-on learning experiences into the classroom, directly benefiting student engagement and achievement. Thanks to Amrize’s generosity, our teachers are able to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators.
Applications open from 8/1 - 9/15 and awarded in October.

Since 2005, MEF has awarded over $620,000 through Innovative Teaching Grants at Midlothian ISD. The grants are designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize, and reward innovative and creative instructional approaches to the accomplishment of program objectives.
Applications are open from November 16th to January 16th.
They will be awarded in February.
